The Community Health Coordinator provides a high level of administrative and technical support by independently completing complex administrative and technical tasks or actions associated with supporting the Blue Health Initiatives team. This role plays a key role in ensuring the effective coordination and administration of grant contributions, impact reporting, and community health-related programming.

Compensation
$20.96 - $26.20

What you’ll do
- Manage post-award processes for Blue Health Initiatives contributions, including funding notifications, documentation collection, payment coordination, and record updates in CyberGrants.
- Design, schedule, and track grant impact reports; follow up with grantees to ensure timely and complete submissions.
- Offer administrative and technical assistance for proposal intake, reporting, and user access issues within the CyberGrants platform.
- Assist Blue Health Initiatives staff with training logistics, travel arrangements, event registrations, monthly reimbursements, onboarding/offboarding, and technology needs.
- Schedule, coordinate, and document internal and external meetings; support team communications and follow-ups.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events under Pathways to a Healthy Kansas, including registration, setup/teardown, and on-site support as needed.
- Prepare and track purchase orders, amendments, invoices, and other procurement documentation; ensure timely submission and approvals.
- Keep accurate records of expenses, reimbursements, contributions, and program-related financial activities.
- Act as a liaison with grantee organizations, providing guidance on reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and provide support to executive-level staff.
- Proficiency working within grant management systems (CyberGrants or similar).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating, analyzing, and tracking grant reports and program outcomes.
- Familiarity with office systems and tools including scheduling software, word processing, electronic filing, and travel coordination.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
What you need
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in community health, public health, communications, business administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of relevant administration, grant coordination or program support experience required.
