What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Froyologist position at Blue Cow Frozen Yogurt?
We are looking for a fun, self-motivated student to join our team for the school year.. This a weekend shift with rotating closing & openings shifts. Must have availability for both as we rotate opening/closing.
Average hourly is $15 /hr including credit card tips (but not including cash tips!!) Base pay is $9-$10 depending on experience.
We are flexible with school schedules, and love to work with students by providing a flexible work/school balance. While this is primarily a weekend shift we will have some weekday day shifts open too.
Ability to work independently and professionally interact with customers while being outgoing, helpful and friendly is a must.
We are a family owned frozen yogurt (self-serve) shop that also specializes in boba teas, frappes, milkshakes, Italian sodas & more! We pride ourselves on being a really fun place to work - with a great vibe, killer employees and fun community events. We are looking for outgoing personalities who help create a fun atmosphere for customers.
This position will include both cashier and barista duties as we ramp up our signature beverage selections, as well as some food prep & stocking of supplies.
The job also includes maintaining an attractive and clean environment. Being clean and preventing cross contamination is #1 priority for us.
This position is ideal for high school / college students.
Experience
Must be at least 16 yr old with reliable transportation.
Barista, food service or boba shop experience is a plus but not required.
Base pay starts at $9 depending on experience. With tips all employees make minimum $15, with average $17 hr and more for weekend shifts.
