Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Videographer to bring visual stories to life through compelling video content in Long Island, NY.
In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage, editing videos with precision, and producing engaging visual narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Your expertise in videography, post-production techniques, and storytelling will help elevate our brand presence across multiple platforms. This intern/ contractual position(based on experience) offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical skills and artistic vision in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate professional filming equipment to capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and corporate communications.
- Edit raw footage using industry-standard media editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to create polished final products.
- Apply color correction and color grading techniques to enhance visual appeal and ensure consistency across all videos.
- Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Maya to add creative elements that support storytelling goals.
- Manage lighting setups for video production to ensure optimal image quality in different environments.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to develop concepts that align with brand messaging and campaign objectives.
- Maintain organized media libraries using content management systems and FTP protocols for efficient workflow and easy retrieval of assets.
Qualifications
- Experience in videography
- Technical proficiency in lighting for video production
- Knowledge of photography principles
- Ability to film on location or in studio settings while managing equipment like cameras, lighting rigs, and sound gear.
- Strong storytelling skills combined with a keen eye for visual storytelling techniques that captivate audiences across digital channels.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Experience working within content management systems or digital asset management platforms is preferred.
