Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter's Helper to assist with residentialconstruction and remodeling projects. This position is ideal for someone interested in learning the carpentry trade and gaining hands-on experience in home construction, renovations, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead carpenter on residential job sites
- Help with framing, trim, drywall, and general carpentry tasks
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with demolition and job site prep
- Follow safety procedures and instructions at all times
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to residential job sites is MANDATORY
- Punctual, dependable, and positive attitude
- Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus
- Residential construction experience is a plus
