As a Staff Consultant on our Healthcare Reimbursement team, you'll play an important role in helping healthcare providers maximize reimbursement opportunities while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Position Details:
- Analyze, validate, and reconcile large volumes of financial and operational data
- using standardized analytical tools.
- Assist with reimbursement consulting projects, including: Medicare DSH
- Medicaid DSH
- Wage Index Occupational Mix Worksheet S-10
- Research reimbursement regulations and identify opportunities to improve
- client reimbursement outcomes.
- Support clients by providing data-driven insights that help inform strategic
- reimbursement decisions.
- Build strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional service throughout each engagement.
- Collaborate with professionals across Blue's Healthcare Consulting Practice on
- multidisciplinary client engagements.
- Continue developing your technical expertise through mentoring, coaching, and
- ongoing professional development.
- We're looking for professionals who are analytical and collaborative, with a willingness to learn within a specialized area of healthcare consulting.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Data/Business Analytics or a related
- field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- applications.
- Data analytics experience in SQL, Alteryx or Python preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed (primarily day travel with minimal overnight travel).
