Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive organization, is seeking a skilled Testing Operations Supervisor. This role is responsible for supporting vehicle testing operations, coordinating multi-shift test teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence across proving grounds activities.
Job Duties
- Co-lead test drivers, stockkeepers, and mechanics across a 24/7, three-shift operation
- Maintain safety protocols and implement improvements for testing personnel
- Ensure test vehicles operate according to schedules and testing requirements
- Track vehicle issues, test concerns, and maintenance needs through proper documentation
- Coordinate timely completion of vehicle maintenance tasks and work orders
- Support process improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale
- Ensure test drivers receive proper training for durability and performance testing
- Partner with union representatives, mechanics, drivers, and onsite management
Skills & Experience
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of related automotive, testing, or operations experience
- Supervision or leadership experience in a testing, manufacturing, or automotive environment
- Familiarity with proving grounds testing, vehicle durability testing, or test operations
Desired
- Knowledge of vehicle development, testing, or certification processes
- Experience with test vehicle scheduling and conformance tracking
- Experience coordinating work orders or maintenance documentation
- Background in safety impact, brake testing, emissions build, mileage accumulation, or vehicle dynamics testing
