Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a leading technology organization, is seeking a skilled Senior IT Software Project Manager. This role is responsible for leading software licensing negotiations, managing key supplier relationships, and supporting strategic sourcing for IT procurement initiatives.
Job Duties:
- Lead contract and pricing negotiations for enterprise software licensing agreements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers
- Present contract award recommendations to senior leadership
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align on software needs, budgets, and timelines
- Perform spend analysis and track cost-saving initiatives
- Oversee contract lifecycle activities and compliance through CLM systems
- Support ERP-related procurement workflows and reporting
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 years of experience in IT procurement, software sourcing, or contract management
- Proven background negotiating software licensing deals and supplier agreements
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Coupa preferred)
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools (Ironclad preferred)
- Expertise in pricing strategy, cost analysis, and RFP/RFI processes
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and executive-level presentation tools
- Familiarity with supplier performance metrics and reporting
Desired:
- Previous experience in a hybrid or matrixed enterprise environment
- Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or technology industry procurement
- Working knowledge of indirect procurement policies and controls
- Advanced knowledge of supplier risk assessment frameworks
