Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing insightful financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Duties
- Reconcile Bank Account Daily
- Print Bank Statements and number them for Accountant
- Work with Accountant to reconcile 2 Credit Cards
- Run Weekly and Bi-Weekly Payrolls and File
- Run Contractor Payroll and File
- Verify and pay sales tax
- Accounts Payable (Pay Bills Weekly – Verify with President) Update Bills Due Report as needed
- Accounts Receivable
- Employee Maintenance in Paychex Flex
- Verification Of Employment Request
- Submit Weekly Certified Payrolls in LCP Tracker and some submit manually and e-mail
- Print Quarterly Reports (940, 941, and TWC) from Paychex
- W-2s and 1099s Received from Paychex and create as needed
- Give TWC Yearly Rate to Paychex to update before 1st Payroll
- Submit yearly March/May Reports
- Assist CFO on yearly audit request
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including budgeting, account reconciliation, and technical accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) is essential.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and financial report writing.
- Knowledge of debits & credits and general ledger accounting is required.
- Understanding of payroll processes and tax experience is beneficial.

Pay: $49,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
