Seasonal Production Operator – Buffalo, NY:
This position is for full-time seasonal production employment to begin on June 1, 2026, and continue through October 31, 2026 in our Cereal Plant and Flour Mill. Seasonal Production employees have to potential to be considered for full-time employment opportunities based on business need and individual performance. Seasonal Production employees must be willing to work ANY shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. This position does not have benefits.
Shift hours:
8-hour shifts
8-hour swing shift schedule rotation every week
1st shift: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Rotation is 1 week on 1st shift, then 1 week on 2nd shift
8-hour steady nights only schedule
3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
Currently hiring for swing and steady night shifts, based on business need
Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Pay:
$18.02 per hour
Shift Differential
Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift
Additional $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift
Overtime pay
Time worked after 8 hours of work is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay
Time worked on Saturday is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay
Time worked on Sunday is paid at 2 times (double pay) regular rate of pay

Support production lines by supplying with materials as needed
Perform various sanitation and clean up duties
Forklift operation
Be responsible for executing all required HACCP processes and documentation
Attend meetings and trainings as required

What you have to offer:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Must be willing to obtain forklift certification (if needed)
Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
