Job Overview
At Blue Bridge Specialty Pharmacy, our Infusion Nurses play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. In this role, you will administer specialized infusion therapies, monitor patient response, and provide education to patients and caregivers to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Working under physician-directed plans of care, you will collaborate closely with our pharmacy and clinical teams to support optimal outcomes, continuity of care, and an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage individualized nursing care plans in accordance with physician orders
- Administer IV therapies, including specialty medications; manage peripheral and central lines
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond appropriately to clinical changes
- Monitor for and manage adverse reactions, including emergency interventions as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers to promote understanding, safety, and independence with therapy
- Document all care in real-time
- Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and Blue Bridge policies
Qualifications
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1–3 years of nursing experience (infusion, ICU, ER or home health preferred)
- Strong IV skills (peripheral IV starts required; central line experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Comfort with mobile technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a home setting
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 1 year of home infusion or home health experience
- Experience with biologics, IVIG, or specialty therapies
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and transport of medical equipment
- Ability to safely provide care in varied home environments
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other environmental risks

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
