Compensation: $70,000–$90,000/year performance bonuses

We’ve built a reputation for responsiveness, reliability, and excellence — and we’re expanding fast. With locations in Utah, Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix, and 12 more cities planned for 2026, we’re looking for a driven and organized Operations Manager to help us scale efficiently.
The Opportunity
This is not a corporate desk job. You’ll work directly with the founder and oversee operations across multiple cities, helping build the systems, structure, and accountability that will allow Blue Armadillo to grow nationwide.
If you’re a hands-on operator who loves building processes, leading people, and turning chaos into clarity — this is your role.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Oversee 4 city operators and ensure daily execution meets brand standards
- Hold weekly accountability calls with operators to review KPIs, schedules, and performance
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new operators and technicians
Systems & Operations
- Develop and implement repeatable systems for scheduling, job completion, and reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards that track revenue, job volume, customer satisfaction, and costs
- Identify inefficiencies and standardize workflows across locations
Expansion & Logistics
- Assist in launching new cities (storage setup, vehicles, hiring, onboarding, licensing)
- Ensure new locations meet company standards from day one
- Coordinate equipment logistics, inventory tracking, and vendor relationships
Communication & Problem Solving
- Be the central communication hub between operators, sales, and leadership
- Resolve operational challenges quickly and proactively
- Help create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Financial & Performance Tracking
- Monitor job costs, city-level P&Ls, and overall gross margins
- Track and report weekly performance metrics directly to the CEO
- Recommend adjustments to improve profitability and efficiency
Key Performance Indicators
- % of jobs completed on schedule
- Customer satisfaction rating (Google, internal feedback, repeat rate)
- Gross margin by city
- Operator retention and performance
- Accuracy and timeliness of weekly reports
Qualifications
- 5 years in operations, logistics, or multi-location management (home services experience a plus)
- Strong systems thinker — able to design and enforce repeatable processes
- Proficient with digital tools (Google Workspace, CRM systems, spreadsheets, Slack)
- Excellent communicator who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments
- Proven leadership and people-management skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for city visits and new market launches
