General Job Duties (Production Associate):
- Exhibit teamwork and participate in team activities within a positive working environment.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a continuous improvement setting.
- Follow Company policies, including Work Plant Rules and Work Safety Rules.
- Adhere to safety and health procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Maintain proper ergonomics during tasks.
- Meet customer quality standards and participate in lean, continuous improvement initiatives.
- Achieve or exceed daily production goals and departmental objectives.
- Clean work areas, return tools, and report equipment issues promptly.
- Direct non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess area.
- Use company communication systems professionally and for business purposes only.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Follow production schedule for accurate part assembly.
- Apply labels and scan parts at the line's start.
- Operate machinery according to work instructions.
- Pack finished parts into designated racks.
- Inspect components for functionality; report defects to supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively; basic mathematical skills required.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day.
- Perform work below the knees and above the shoulders occasionally.
- Capable of sustained and repetitive motion for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Entry-level (though experience is preferred)
- Lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for length of shift
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check & drug screen
