Role Description
The VP Land Acquisition will lead and manage all aspects of land acquisition for Blu OnX in Chesterfield, MO. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role focused on identifying, negotiating, and securing strategic land acquisitions. Core responsibilities include market analysis, conducting due diligence, maintaining strong relationships with landowners and brokers, and developing acquisition strategies to align with company goals. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions from acquisition to development stages.
Qualifications
- Experience with market research, site analysis, and due diligence processes
- Expertise in negotiations, contracts, and transactions related to land acquisition
- Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee teams and align business goals
- Understanding of zoning regulations, real estate finance, and land development processes
- Proven communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking abilities to assess opportunities and risks
- Proficiency in relevant tools for financial analysis, project planning, and market evaluation
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in land acquisition or real estate development
- Familiarity with Chesterfield, MO, and surrounding regional markets is a plus
