Blu Omega is seeking a Tableau Data Visualization Analyst to join our team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Transition existing PowerBI visualizations and dashboards to Tableau.
- Capture and maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, transformations, and reporting processes.
- Design, generate, validate, and maintain complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
- Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc reporting to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
- Create dashboard landing pages with intuitive layouts and effective page navigation to enhance user experience.
- Add interactivity to dashboards, such as filters, drilldowns, and dynamic visuals, to empower users in exploring data.
- Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure dashboards are visually appealing, accessible, and easy to use for all stakeholders.
Supporting Responsibilities:
- Support the management, oversight, and coordination of certified Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Entities.
- Conduct weekly analyses of external arbitrator performance data and use Tableau and Power BI to create presentations that highlight results.
- Present data analysis on key trends, themes, and areas for follow-up to Engagement Leads and prepare them for conducting weekly engagement meetings with individual arbitrator entities.
- Provide additional training and coaching as needed to help Engagement Leads develop deeper expertise and greater insight into data analysis trends and visualizations.
- Collaborate with IDR Data Analytics team to identify and generate new visuals and analysis to provide client with additional arbitrator performance trends and themes.
- Identify qualitative findings from meetings with external arbitrator entities, including changes to organization, strategy, and technology, that could influence data trends to report to the IDR Data Analytics team.
- Identify potential process improvements and best practices that could be recommended to lower performing external arbitrator entities.
- Support internal planning and coordination around IDRE and external engagement activities.
- Support IDRE and external engagement meetings including all weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly calls with IDREs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and client to prepare for meetings, plan agendas, collect questions, and draft slides.
- Participate in and capture meeting notes, key takeaways, and actions.
- Provide knowledge sharing across IDR stakeholders to ensure all actions and/or impacts are identified and elevated to the appropriate teams/POCs.
- Track progress towards completing action items and proactively identify what needs to get done, by when, and by whom.
- Capture, operationalize, and improve engagement standard operation procedures.
Must have:
- Experience in UI/UX design for dashboards and analytics tools, using user-centered principles to create intuitive interfaces.
- Proven experience generating Tableau visualizations, with a track record of creating and maintaining interactive dashboards.
- Advanced Tableau visualization skills.
- Strong data analytics and visualization expertise.
- Experience creating visuals and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Experience analyzing operational performance, identifying process improvements, and presenting to clients to obtain buy-in.
- Ability to think outside of the box to provide creative solutions to issues/problems.
- Proactive, and works independently while simultaneously collaborative with colleagues and clients.
- Exceptionally organized and able to keep a group focused on shared action items.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
