Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Hookah Makers to join our vibrant Hookah Lounge team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality hookahs while providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, with experience in food preparation, customer service, and POS systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality setting that values professionalism, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble hookahs according to established recipes and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, workstations, and lounge areas
• Serve customers efficiently while ensuring a positive guest experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Manage cash handling accurately during transactions
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Assist with food preparation tasks related to the lounge menu when necessary
• Follow food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations at all times
• Provide friendly customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, café, or retail environments preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations
• Ability to handle food safely, maintain sanitation standards, and follow health regulations
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or the food industry is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a quick service or fast-food environment
• Prior kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food handling and cleaning

Pay: $16.00 - $22.19 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
