We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha or Micros POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while effectively upselling items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest relations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike.
