What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insulation Installer position at Blown Right Insulation LLC?
Responsibilities
- Load/unload trailer specific to each job.
- Support the site supervisor on removal and install jobs.
- Remove old/damaged insulation in preparation for new.
- Install loose fill fiberglass/cellulose, batt insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and other areas of the home as noted.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
- Provide top-notch customer service.
- Operate hand tools (e.g., caulking guns, utility knives) and power tools (ex. drills, saws) safely and effectively.
- Measure and cut insulation materials accurately to fit designated spaces.
- Apply caulking, air sealing, and weatherproofing techniques to ensure energy efficiency.
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after use.
Requirements
- Must be customer driven.
- Ability to communicate effectively with site manager and home owner.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job site.
- Proven experience in construction or insulation installation preferred.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by project scope.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.

** Pay Structure **
Pay is $0.12 per sq ft install and $0.15 per sq ft removal.
