Blowing Rock Brewing is looking for an outgoing, friendly, and reliable Host/Server Assistant to join our team! This hybrid position includes both Host and Server Assistant shifts, offering variety throughout your week and opportunities to build a broad range of skills.
Host Responsibilities:
- Creating a warm, welcoming first impression for guests
- Managing seating & waitlists
- Answering the phone & taking to-go orders
Server Assistant Responsibilities:
- Delivering food & drink orders
- Fulfilling various guest & coworker requests
Compensation:
- Host: $14/hr 2% of all tips from card payments
- Server Assistant: $12/hr 3% of all tips from card payments
- Opportunities for hourly increases based on reliability, performance, and tenure
Qualifications:
- Upbeat, organized, responsible, and hospitality-driven
- Restaurant experience is helpful but not required - we are happy to train the right person with a great attitude & strong work ethic
