Summary – The Packaging Technician I position is responsible for the continuous and “trouble free” running of Lidder Machines, Palletizer Machines, or Label Spooler incorporated within the Cup Pack out processing department.
Essential Duties:
Palletizer:
· Ability to read and understand daily production schedule
· Communicate with Data Clerks and Management about necessary materials and machine malfunctions
· Ability to hand palletize, follow pallet configurations, monitor number of pallets
· Understanding basic math and have clear handwriting
· Ability to diagnose issues within the Palletizer machine, to clear out cup jams and breakdowns, understand how to use the screen and g et machine back up and running
· Responsible for learning all aspects of Palletizer Machine, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments
· Ability to identify product variation to set up machinery in a timely manner.
· Capable of operating Walkie Stack after proper training and certifications
Requirements:
· One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
