We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, is dependable, and wants to be part of a small, welcoming childcare environment. This is a great opportunity for a high school senior, college student, or young adult who wants hands-on experience working with kids.
What You’ll Do
- Keep kids safe and happy: Supervise children and make sure they are safe, cared for, and having fun.
- Help with daily routines: Assist with meals, snacks, nap time, clean-up, and transitions throughout the day.
- Play and learn: Help with age-appropriate activities, crafts, games, and outdoor play.
- Keep things clean: Help keep the daycare clean, organized, and ready for the kids.
- Be part of the team: Follow directions, communicate with the team, and help wherever needed.
- Help create a positive environment: Be patient, kind, and engaged with the children throughout the day.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual
- Patient, kind, and friendly
- Energetic and willing to get involved with the kids
- Comfortable playing, getting on the floor, and staying active
- Able to follow directions and work well with others
- Good communication skills
- Childcare experience is a plus, but not required
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is reliable, caring, and willing to learn.
