What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Pod Teacher position at Blossoming Minds Learning Studio?
Blossoming Minds is seeking certified teachers to lead our Learning Pods for students in Preschool, Kindergarten, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary.
Our learning pods are small-group classes within a nature-based homeschool hybrid program that blends strong academic foundations with creative enrichment. Teachers guide students through engaging lessons, hands-on projects, and interdisciplinary activities that connect core academics with art, nature study, music, and exploration.
This role is ideal for educators who enjoy small class sizes, creative instruction, and meaningful relationships with students.
Learning Pod Age Groups
We are currently hiring teachers for:
Preschool (Ages 2–3)
A play-based learning environment that nurtures social development, early language, sensory exploration, and foundational learning skills.
Kindergarten (Ages 4–5)
A nature-based, play-centered program that introduces early literacy and math concepts while building strong learning foundations through storytelling, movement, and hands-on discovery.
Lower Elementary (Ages 6–9)
Students build core skills in reading, writing, and math while exploring science, nature studies, and project-based learning that integrates creative enrichment and real-world connections.
Upper Elementary (Ages 9–12)
Students deepen academic understanding through collaborative projects, research, and interdisciplinary learning that integrates enrichment opportunities such as art, music, and nature exploration.

Responsibilities
- Lead a small learning pod of students in a supportive classroom environment
- Teach and guide core academic subjects appropriate to the age group
- Incorporate enrichment opportunities that support learning foundations
- Facilitate hands-on lessons, projects, and collaborative activities
- Support student curiosity, confidence, and growth
Qualifications
- State teaching certification required
- Experience teaching in elementary or early childhood education
- Passion for hands-on and student-centered learning
- Ability to integrate enrichment into core academic instruction
- Organized, patient, and creative

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
