Come grow with us at Blossoming Kids Therapy!

Blossoming Kids Therapy is looking for clinicians passionate about helping children thrive.

The ideal candidate will combine compassion with evidence-driven techniques to facilitate the best possible outcome for each patient.

At Blossoming Kids Therapy, we believe that collaboration between the therapist and patient is the heart of progress.

We view each patient contact as an opportunity to develop a greater connection with each family.

As an emerging group practice in Tumwater, WA, we hire dedicated therapists who share these common goals for our patients.

We seek therapists who impart warmth, cultural sensitivity, and solid clinical skills.

We are committed to supervising and mentoring our clinicians as they build their caseload.

We offer excellent compensation and a strong collegial environment for support and professional connection.

Blossoming Kids Therapy is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and playful Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing pediatric therapy team. If you love helping children build confidence, independence, regulation, and functional skills through meaningful play, we would love to meet you.

We are a therapist owned pediatric clinic serving children and families throughout Tumwater, Olympia, and the surrounding communities. Our whole child, play based, and sensory informed approach allows our occupational therapy, speech therapy, myofunctional therapy, and vision therapy teams to collaborate closely and provide individualized care.

Our clinic offers beautifully designed treatment rooms, a sensory gym, a kitchen and art space, and engaging play areas. You will join a supportive and collaborative team that values creativity, communication, professional growth, and having fun at work. This is a full time position with an established and growing caseload. Mentorship and relocation assistance are available for the right candidate.

As a COTA, you will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a Washington licensed Occupational Therapist. You will implement individualized treatment plans and support children in areas such as sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor development, visual motor skills, handwriting, executive functioning, self care, coordination, play, and daily living activities.

You will document treatment sessions accurately, communicate with caregivers, provide home recommendations, and collaborate with occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, speech language pathology assistants, vision therapy providers, families, and community professionals. Most importantly, you will create therapy sessions that are engaging, functional, child centered, and fun.

Qualified applicants must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Applicants must also have an active Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be eligible to obtain one before beginning employment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families and possesses strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Pediatric experience is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience supporting sensory processing, regulation, executive functioning, feeding, handwriting, or neurodivergent children is a plus.

To apply, please submit a current résumé, a brief cover letter or introduction, proof of current NBCOT certification, a copy of your Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant license if already licensed, and contact information for professional references.

Before beginning employment, the selected candidate must provide verification of an active Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant license, any education and credential documentation required by the Washington State Department of Health, verification of licenses held in other states when applicable, current CPR and First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain it, and the documentation necessary to complete required employment and background screening.
