What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valentines Day General Laborer position at Blossom Flower Shops?
We’re seeking a motivated and dependable individual to assist in our busy flower shop during the Valentine’s Day rush! If you're someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has an eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.
Job Duties:
- Assist with moving heavy boxes and buckets (must be able to lift up to 60 pounds)
- Learn to clean and care for flowers and plants to maintain quality
- Help load and unload delivery trucks
- Maintain cleanliness of the store and design area
- Restock flowers, vases, and supplies for design staff and sales area
- Provide support to design staff and sales associates as needed
- Ensure the store’s operations run smoothly during the busiest time of year
Qualifications:
- Dependable, hardworking, and a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must have a valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)
- Prior experience in a flower shop or retail setting is a plus but not required
