We're looking for a part-time Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as a W-2 employee, working approximately two days per week with flexible scheduling.
Bloom has a special passion for supporting women and mothers through life's transitions, including infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Position Details
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2 days per week, with flexible days and hours
- Employment: W-2 employee
- Location: Prospect, KY
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of psychiatric clinical experience
- Patient Population: Primarily adults, with an emphasis on women's and perinatal mental health
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with therapists and wellness providers to ensure coordinated, whole-person care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide compassionate, client-centered care in both in-person and telehealth settings
Qualifications
For Psychiatrists (MD/DO):
- MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency
- Active Kentucky medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum of 1 year of post-residency clinical experience preferred
For Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs):
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active Kentucky APRN license and prescriptive authority
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a PMHNP

- Passion for women's mental health, with interest or experience in perinatal and postpartum care strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A warm, collaborative approach and commitment to evidence-based, individualized care
- Comfortable with technology, electronic health records, and telehealth
- Desire to be part of a supportive, team-oriented practice
