What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at Blooms Garden Center & Bistro at Blooms?
This is a highly collaborative support role designed to help keep multiple areas of the business organized, efficient, and running smoothly.
You'll work closely with our Marketing Director, Product Manager, and leadership team, assisting with a wide variety of administrative, operational, hiring, purchasing, and organizational tasks. While this position may occasionally touch marketing projects, the primary focus is not creating marketing campaigns. Instead, you'll help manage the behind-the-scenes work that allows our team to stay focused on strategy, creativity, and growth.

What You'll Do
Administrative & Operations Support
- Maintain clean, accurate, and well-organized records, spreadsheets, and internal documents
- Transcribe information and keep systems, files, and databases up to date
- Keep communication clear and flowing between departments
- Assist leadership with administrative projects and day-to-day operational needs
- Balance cash drawers and run basic reports as needed
Hiring & Team Support
- Help write and post job advertisements
- Coordinate applicant communication and scheduling
- Assist with interview organization and hiring logistics
Retail Systems & Organization
- Assist with inventory tracking, pricing, and product organization
- Help maintain and organize Square systems, products, and reporting
- Support purchasing of plants, home décor, and retail merchandise in alignment with company direction
Marketing Support
- Work directly with the Marketing Director to assist with operational and administrative marketing tasks
- Help organize marketing projects, budgets, timelines, and internal documentation
- Occasionally assist with social media scheduling and content organization
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite is helpful but not required
