What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Bloomington Hardware Co. Inc.?

A hardware sales floor person is responsible for helping customers in the entire store, stocking shelves, cutting keys, mixing paint, back-stocking inventory, cleaning the shelves in their department, merchandising, and of course, other assorted tasks as needed. Hardware and/or retail store experience is preferred, but not necessary.
A friendly and helpful attitude is a must! Problem solving is needed. Our customers turn to us for helpful advice. We want someone that is knowledgeable, helpful, and has a sense of humor. (Because in life you need a sense of humor sometimes.)
We have a set schedule each week. All employees work either Saturday or Sunday, NO employee is expected to work both days. Part time employees work up to 30 hours. We are open Monday thru Saturday 8AM to 6Pm and Sunday 10 - 6 .... so, no late nights.
