What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Shop Staff position at Bloomington CC - Golf Shop?
The Golf Shop Assistant is tasked with assisting in the daily operations of the golf shop. This will include: answering phones, making tee times, checking in golfers, using the point of sale system, selling merchandise, opening and closing the golf shop, calculating end of day sales and balancing cash drawer.
You will also be tasked with assisting outside services when necessary with opening or closing duties that may include setting up daily play, pulling out golf carts, cleaning clubs, and cleaning golf carts.
THE HOURS FOR THIS POSITION WILL VARY BUT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED TO WORK HOURS AND SHIFTS RANGING FROM 6am-2pm and 1:30 pm-8pm.
Past experience is awesome, but not required. Your ability to think clearly, anticipate events, handle diverse situations, and know when to say "I don't know, I'll find someone who does".
