- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Assist with product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is attractive and accessible
- Conduct product knowledge sharing to educate customers about store offerings
- Maintain accurate cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing at shift end
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and ensuring store cleanliness
- Provide friendly phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or answering inquiries
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively
- Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
