Blooming Potential is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with assessments to determine patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Under supervising OT, monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress
- Assist with case management services, including coordinating with insurance providers and advocating for patients' needs
Experience:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Louisiana
- Proven experience in providing occupational therapy services, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
