About the Role:
Blooming Buds LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Montessori Toddler Lead Teacher to join our growing team in Milton, GA! Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement authentic Montessori curriculum and activities tailored to toddler development
- Prepare and maintain an organized, child-centered Montessori classroom environment
- Observe and document individual child progress and developmental milestones
- Build warm, trusting relationships with toddlers to support social-emotional growth
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and classroom activities
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing standards
Requirements:
- Montessori certification (AMI or AMS) preferred, especially in the Early Childhood or Toddler level
- Previous experience as a lead teacher in a Montessori or early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of toddler development (ages 18 months – 3 years)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check as required by Georgia childcare licensing
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with toddlers
