Bloomed Celebrations is a luxury floral design and experiential event and installation company specializing in parties, storefront installations, floral designs, luxury tablescapes & working alongside many brands. We are looking for a Floral & Events Assistant on a per diem & freelance basis to join our team and support our lead designer with on-site projects, clerical work and designing assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead designer with floral prep, arranging, and event production
- Help with event preparation for weddings, parties, installs and activations
- Deliver arrangements locally throughout Suffolk and Nassau counties
- Travel with our team (or drive independently with gas reimbursement) to NYC, the Hamptons, or local Long Island events for set-up and breakdown
- Support on-site installations, set-up, and clean-up for events and Bloom Bar activations
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in store and on site
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, guests, and event partners
Requirements:
- Prior experience with florals, event planning, or event management strongly preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport flowers, décor, and rental items
- Flexible schedule – availability on weekends and evenings for events is a must
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Being able to take initiative in event settings and in general
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a positive, can-do attitude
