As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by focusing on building relationships with new customers, particularly those with zero spend with INDG.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop territory, marketing, and growth strategies for prospects within the designated region of the United States capitalizing on trends impacting certain sectors.
- Identify prospects with zero INDG spend and prioritize outreach efforts accordingly.
- Plan weekly call lists and maintain prospect lists within defined territory(ies).
- Uncover, qualify, and identify strategic level pains, business initiatives, and drivers for potential customers.
- Build a customer relationship map, identifying decision-makers, influencers, coaches, and detractors within target organizations.
- Generate referrals for adjacent sales divisions within INDG
- Prioritize and nurture leads, reviewing overall territory, marketing, and growth strategies regularly.
- Executive presence and ability to engage with high-level decision-makers.
- Proficiency in complex/solution sales, with a track record of closing deals.
- Perseverance and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
- Creative solutioning and sales tactics to overcome obstacles.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for successful deal closure.
- Highly skilled with Salesforce in both practical application and commitment to Salesforce hygiene
- Ability to accurately stage, forecast and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of successful sales experience in a business environment, comparable to Bloomberg Industry Group
- Knowledge of assigned market (e.g. law firms, tax & accounting, corporations) preferred
