Line & Prep Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook and/or Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food production.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Cook food items according to recipes and portion sizes
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the quality and safety of the food
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
• Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation, sanitation, and safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
