About Us:
Bloom - Pastry & Pop is a boutique, botanically-inspired café and patisserie opening this August. We serve premium non-alcoholic spritzes, specialty teas, and artisanal pastries in a beautiful, upscale 900-square-foot space. Because we emphasize a pristine, clean design aesthetic and premium dine-in presentation, our dish and utility operation is critical to our success.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Dishwasher to join our team ahead of our Labor Day Weekend launch!
What You’ll Do (The Role):
This is not your average back-of-house restaurant gig. You will keep our fast-casual café running smoothly by managing our washing station with care and speed. Your core tasks will include:
- Careful Smallware Maintenance: Wash, sanitize, and polish premium glassware (used for our signature non-alcoholic spritzes and floats) and porcelain pastry plates.
- Organized Restocking: Quickly and safely return clean dishes, beverage tools, and prep smallwares to the front-of-house counter stations so the team never runs out during a rush.
- Supporting the Floor: Assist with light tasks during downtime, such as clearing tables, emptying dining room trash bins, and ensuring our custom, eco-friendly packaging is stocked.
- Maintaining Safety Standards: Keep the dish machine, sink areas, and back-of-house floors clean, organized, and compliant with all local health department codes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a dishwasher or utility clerk in a restaurant, café, or catering environment is preferred, but we are happy to train anyone with the right attitude.
- Attention to Detail: You take pride in a spotless workspace and understand how to handle delicate glassware and plates without chipping or breaking them.
- Pace & Reliability: Ability to move quickly during our peak afternoon service windows and a consistent track record of showing up on time.
- Timeline Commitment: Must be available for our opening prep and training days starting mid-August, and available to work shifts over our grand opening launch during Labor Day Weekend.

Compensation: $10.00 – $12.00 / hour base pay team tip pool share (Expected total earnings $12–$14 /hr)
