Team Lead - Bloom Nails (Westfield Valley Fair)

Job Summary

Bloom Nails is looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Team Lead to help manage daily operations at our Westfield Valley Fair location. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who enjoys retail, beauty, and team management in a fast-paced mall environment.

As a Team Lead, you will support store operations, oversee sales associates during shifts, manage scheduling and inventory, and help drive sales performance while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines retail sales, team supervision, operational organization, and inventory coordination.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and support sales associates during daily store operations
• Train and coach new employees on customer service, product knowledge, sizing assistance, and sales techniques
• Help create a positive, motivated, and team-oriented work environment
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to management
• Ensure team members follow company standards and policies

Scheduling & Shift Coordination

• Assist with weekly employee scheduling and shift planning
• Manage shift coverage and communicate schedule updates
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and time tracking
• Approve or report shift swaps, lateness, and call-outs
• Ensure smooth opening and closing shift transitions

Inventory & Operations

• Track and restock inventory levels for nails, sizing kits, packaging, and supplies
• Organize backstock and maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist with inventory counts and product audits
• Report low stock, best sellers, and restock needs to management
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays

Administrative & Reporting Duties

• Prepare weekly sales and performance reports
• Document daily operational updates and team performance notes
• Track sales goals, commissions, and store KPIs
• Communicate operational issues, customer feedback, and team concerns to management
• Support hiring coordination and onboarding paperwork when needed

Customer Experience & Sales

• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist with product selection
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support sales goals and encourage upselling opportunities
• Promote upcoming launches, promotions, and seasonal collections
• Ensure customers have a welcoming and positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience required
• Previous retail leadership, keyholder, or team lead experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable managing schedules, inventory, and team coordination
• Sales-driven mindset with strong customer service skills
• Interest in beauty, fashion, or cosmetics preferred
• Experience using POS systems and basic reporting tools is a plus
