Job Overview
Residential Cleaning Contractor – 1099
We are looking for experienced, dependable residential cleaning professionals to partner with our growing cleaning company. This is an independent contractor opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and provides a professional experience for every client.
As a cleaning contractor, you will complete residential cleaning appointments while maintaining high-quality standards and communicating professionally with homeowners. The amount and type of work will vary by property and client needs.
What You’ll Do
- Complete residential cleaning services such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other requested spaces.
- Perform detailed cleaning of surfaces, fixtures, appliances, and floors as needed.
- Complete occasional specialty services such as making beds, laundry, dishes, if requested and added on. Experience in carpet shampooing care or upholstery cleaning is a plus!
- Respect client instructions and company service expectations.
- Communicate professionally with clients and our administrative team.
- Arrive on time and be prepared to complete each scheduled appointment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional residential cleaning experience.
- Previous experience in residential house cleaning, commercial is a plus!
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- Reliable, professional, and able to manage appointments independently.
- Comfortable working in different home environments and handling a variety of cleaning requests.
- Able to communicate respectfully and professionally with clients.
Requirements and expectations:
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 employee position.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must provide and maintain your own cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Must have general liability insurance or be willing to obtain the required coverage before accepting jobs.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and consistently arrive on time for scheduled appointments.
