Bloom Dental is looking for a caring and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a privately owned and growing dental group that offers the personal feel of a smaller company with the benefits and opportunities you would expect from a larger organization.
We are looking for a hygienist who enjoys building relationships with patients, providing excellent care, and working alongside a supportive team. You will have an important voice in the patient experience and play a key role in helping our patients improve their overall health.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing routine preventive care and periodontal therapy
- Completing periodontal charting and assessments
- Taking digital X-rays
- Educating patients on oral health and recommended care
- Reviewing findings and concerns with the doctor
- Maintaining complete and accurate patient records
- Helping patients understand the importance of returning for recommended care
- Working closely with the doctor, assistants, and front office team
- Creating a comfortable and positive experience for every patient
- Supporting the team wherever needed throughout the day
You May Be a Great Fit If You
- Hold an active Indiana Dental Hygiene license
- Are comfortable treating patients of all ages
- Have experience providing periodontal therapy
- Communicate well and make patients feel at ease
- Are dependable, organized, and able to stay on schedule
- Enjoy educating patients without making them feel pressured
- Work well with doctors and other team members
- Have experience with dental software and digital technology
- Are certified to administer local anesthesia, preferred
