Bloom Creative Arts preschool is seeking a full time preschool special education teacher to join our family! We are looking for a Special Education Teacher for our 8:1:1 self-contained classroom. *We follow the school district calendar and teachers receive over two weeks of Paid Time Off in addition to the 9 weeks of scheduled breaks/holidays. *

NEW AND UPCOMING GRADUATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. Applicants for Special Education Teacher should hold a Bachelor's in Exceptional Education or Special Education, and are enrolled or have a plan to become enrolled in a Master's of Special Education or Exceptional Education program. Applicants who currently hold a Master's in Special Education or Exceptional Education and are fully certified should also apply!

Job duties include:

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must have functional computer and tablet skills

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must update quarterly progress and take data in the classroom

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must analyze progress

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must Recommend services as needed

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must Collaborate with the general education teacher to plan curriculum and manage the classroom in a positive and effective manner

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must maintain a clean environment

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must have a positive attitude and display flexibility in a fast paced environment

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must display excellent interpersonal skills with co-teachers.

*The Preschool Special Education Teacher must share our philosophy and embody a gentle, loving approach to education.

*Knowledge about the Zones of Regulation a plus
