Job Summary
In this role, you’ll manage and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure across multiple facilities including cultivation sites, production facilities, and retail dispensaries. Your work will directly support mission-critical systems such as seed-to-sale software, compliance platforms, security camera networks, and point-of-sale systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain secure networks across all locations (VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers).
- Ensure compliance with state-mandated technology and security requirements, including METRC integrations and video surveillance system uptime.
- Provide ongoing support for seed-to-sale systems, POS platforms (e.g., Flowhub, BioTrack, Treez), and warehouse technologies.
- Manage and monitor IT infrastructure performance; identify and troubleshoot connectivity or access issues.
- Maintain secure user access controls and role-based permissions across departments.
- Oversee regular data backups, system updates, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including system configs, licenses, and SOPs.
- Support facility expansions and new dispensary build-outs from an IT infrastructure perspective.
Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry.
- 2 years of experience in IT network or systems administration (multi-site environments a plus).
- Proven experience with network hardware, Windows/Linux servers, and cloud solutions.
- Working knowledge of cannabis-specific software (e.g., Dutchie, I Heart jane, or similar) preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance standards related to cannabis industry regulations (CCTV storage, restricted access systems, etc.).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network , CCNA, or equivalent are desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation, especially in regulated environments.
