What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at BLOOD BROS. BBQ?
After 5 years of IYKYK gatherings among fellow industry peeps and close friends, we have opened up our Test Kitchen and Weekly Get Togethers to greater Houston! Following the Vietnamese Tradition of "Nhau," the art of drinking and eating, for no particular purpose, our goal is to create your favorite third space, or home away from home
To do this, we are looking for resourceful, curious, focused professionals who are enthusiastic about helping us expand our service. Experience is a plus, but we are more interested in individuals who are self-directed, work with a sense of urgency, and can easily complete multiple tasks at once. Because we are a small staff, communication is key! Team work makes the dream work
Job Duties:
- Setting up breaking down bar
- Greeting seating guests
- Menu knowledge, including but not limited to our Weekly Features. This menu is different than our Meats By The Pound offerings people are used to during the day. You will need to retain information field guest inquiries often
- Input orders using Toast POS
- Complete payments
- Packing pick-up delivery orders once they are complete. Detail is important, as many orders are similar and/or include sauces that must be added separately
- Other duties as assigned
Bartenders MUST be able to manage multiple tasks, or communicate when weeded.
Please note: this is a Part Time position, as Happy Nhau-er is PM ONLY, Wednesday-Saturday. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not necessary
