Blood Assurance is seeking full time PRODUCT TECHNICIAN to work in our downtown Chattanooga lab location on 2nd shift 3PM-11PM ,This position offers a shift premium.
PRODUCT TECHNICIAN Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phone to take orders from area hospitals that are in need
- Packing blood and/or blood products for distribution according to standard operating procedures.
- Notifying Courier when shipment is ready for pick up.
- Receiving blood components from multiple locations.
- Manufacture blood and blood components according to standard operating procedures.
Qualified PRODUCT TECHNICIAN candidate will need to:
- Be detailed oriented
- Have excellent customer services skills (both verbal and written)
- Have computer skills
- Be able to lift 50lbs on a routine basis
