Blood Assurance is seeking compassionate, dependable 3rd shift Full Time Medical Lab Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist in our Chattanooga Area. The schedule would be Tuesday -Friday 10PM-8AM, with varying hours based on assignment with a Shift Defferential. The responsibilities for the Medical Lab Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist include preparation of blood and blood components, labeling of blood, shipment of blood, and various clerical tasks.
The primary function:
- Blood Component Processing
- Donor Testing
- Reference Lab
Qualified candidates:
- must have current MT or MLT ASCP Certification and AS/BS Degree.
- Blood bank experience preferred but, not required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a positive, professional attitude.
