Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze key market segment trends, growth drivers, market sizing, competitive landscape, investment funding, target customers and product applications, with relevance to Blommer strategic initiatives; generate category and consumer insights and report out to internal stakeholders, R&D, Sales & Executives.
- Responsibility to manage data insight tools and platforms, analyze data, translate and concisely communicate insights to support marketing and business strategies.
- Evaluate external data services and collaborations assessing value proposition of the partnership and prose solutions to support Blommer business growth strategy. Managed vendor selections and relationships, subscriptions, negotiations and budgets of all market databases including Mintel, Euromonitor, Suzy, etc. to ensure the best fit for company needs
- Opportunistically design and execute custom market and consumer studies, analyze results, and interpret the data into actionable insights for customer projects, new product launches.
- Execute on the marketing plan of insights across channels such as websites, webinars, blogs, social media, email campaigns, podcasts, and videos.
- Preparing external insights to support sales for customer presentations, strategic account planning, customer innovation and ideation sessions. Insights content should be readily available, visually appealing and articulating a clear narrative.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate content and insights, across internal platforms, that are easily accessible to key stakeholders utilizing Blommer systems and platforms.
- Communicate technical data insights in an audience appropriate way, in settings including technical training and presentations to customers and internal stakeholders as well as conferences and industry events.
- Represent Blommer within the industry by attending meetings, conferences, and trade shows, actively participating in trade organizations and/or becoming involved in the community.
- Other responsibilities as identified by the sales and marketing leadership teams.

Physical Requirements:
General office environment and occasional work in physical or remote team meetings, trade shows, and customer events.

- Properly use the internal and external databases & systems available to you, and proactively offer potential additions and improvements as identified.
- Approach data gathering and research with an open scientific mindset. Produce high-quality, appropriate audience-facing written communication free of grammatical and formatting errors.
- Understand food industry jargon, key players in each market segment, and Blommer capabilities across the network.
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and projects simultaneously throughout different stages in the process with strong collaboration skills
- Support and foster the established company culture, including thinking creatively to efficiently solve problems.
- Collaborate and work directly with a variety of roles, departments & personalities, communicating clearly and resolving conflict as necessary.
- Maintain a mindset of continuous professional development, including building and maintaining subject matter expertise; sharing and exchanging ideas to elevate each team member is expected.
Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
- Three plus years’ industry experience in consumer products, food and beverage, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis techniques like statistical analysis, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
- Data visualization skills: ability to present complex data in clear and insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce etc.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools: familiarity with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, and marketing automation software (Salesforce).
- Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Business acumen: understanding of marketing principles, business objectives, and market dynamics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, marketing, data science or related fields; paired with food industry experience.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
