Position Title: ERP Director
Reports to: VP of IT
Location - Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago, IL
Hybrid Role (3 days on-site)
Job Summary:
The ERP Director works seamlessly throughout the organization in accomplishing transformational project work. Lead effort on translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions, processes and configurations to improve business operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
Alignment with Fuji Oil SAP Global Template
- Overall understanding of the business needs and system requirements for the future state ERP
- Understand Parent Company (Fuji Holding’s) implementation policy and guidelines working with the VP of IT
- Develop strong relationship with the Parent Company SAP implementation partner (Abeam) to drive successful implementation of the Parent Company SAP template for Blommer
- Direct staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and retention. Mentor, motivate, and develop staff for future state roles
Leadership/Management
- Direct reports will be the Business Process Leads for each process area: Record to Report (RTR-Acctg. & Finance), Order to Cash (OTC-Pricing, Contracting, Billing), Procure to Pay (PTP-Purchasing & Supply Chain) and Make to Deliver (MTD-Operations)
- Liaise with the Business and IT to ensure alignment and collaboration on ideal business processes and associated system implementation
- Facilitate Business and IT leadership involvement in addressing any open project items
Project Management
- Ensure alignment with the SAP project and other ancillary projects (MDG, CTRM, S&OP, etc.)
- Active leader in the overall mission of the transformation program to ensure successful program execution and realize business outcomes
- Along with the implementation global partner provide day to day project leadership to ensure project progressing on schedule
- Oversee along with the VP of IT/IT Director SAP implementation Project Management Office (PMO)
- Manage end to end solution integration across process and technical teams
- Work closely with project management team and SME’s in implementing best project methodology and tools to successfully deliver the program
- Provide leadership to the project team in developing and managing their own work plans. Ensure alignment with the overall project
- Ensure Blommer and Abeam dedicated leads by process area productively work together to drive a successful SAP solution for Blommer
- Facilitate change management and organization readiness
- Provide progress reviews to the project group and help prepare reports for functional and Executive Steering Committees
- Operate within the core values of respect and care for others

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10 to 15 years of proven working experience in project management with previous experience in SAP ERP system implementation at Director level
- Project management and organizational change management at Director level
- Effective in both verbal and written communications, with strong proficiency in delivering presentations and executive reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- Manufacturing process experience, Food or Beverage industry experience is a plus
- Requires routine travel (50%)
