About Blok Party
Blok Party is a tokenized hospitality network building a new format for curated, in-person experiences. Our signature event style breaks a single day into three or four "Bloks” (distinct sub-venues operating in concert, with attendees moving through the Bloks as a curated journey).
About the Role
Each Blok has a host. Alongside a Blok Party event coordinator, the host curates the theme and programming. The host is why a room becomes interesting. They design the through-line, bring the right people, set the energy, and carry the brand the event is built around. This isn't event staffing. It's a frontline creative-operational role that defines what the platform feels like from the inside. We're looking for authentic people with a real point of view on what makes a night memorable and a network they can actually activate.
What You'll Do
- Design the through-line of your Blok/event: theme, programming, music, food, beverage, etc.
- Co-host the night end-to-end: greet, connect, transition, aka spearhead the fun!
- Carry the brand of your event, as an extension of your personal brand
- Drive at least 20 ticket conversions through your network in the six to eight weeks before the event
- Debrief with the production team after and contribute to format iteration
Who You Are
You're authentic, you have a good idea for a party, and you have a local network you can actually move. At minimum, you can reliably activate 20 ticket buyers for a curated event. You don't need a hospitality resume—you need taste, instinct, and a real point of view on the kind of room you want to create. You should live in Los Angeles County or the San Francisco Bay Area.
Compensation
- Host Fee (fixed, per event)
- Revenue Share on ticket sales tied to your Blok or event
- OTE per event: $1,500 to $5,000 depending on attendance and event tier
Time Commitment
8 to 12 hours on event day, plus 5 to 10 hours of pre-event prep in the 6-8 weeks preceding the event.
