Block O'Toole & Murphy is a premier New York City plaintiff's personal injury law firm serving catastrophic injury victims across New York State and New Jersey. Our firm is searching for a creative, organized video producer/editor to join our marketing team.
Reporting to the Content & Brand Marketing Manager, the Digital Video Producer/Editor will write, shoot, produce, and edit short-form and long-form video content shared primarily on YouTube and online directories. This individual will be also be responsible for creating still graphics and video thumbnails, as needed.
The Digital Video Producer/Editor will collaborate with the Content & Brand Marketing Manager to plan video content to maintain a consistent presence across content platforms and have a hand in optimizing and publishing content.
Responsibilities
- Produce video and graphics to use across firm website and YouTube channel
- Keeping AEO best practices in mind, create, write, shoot, and edit short- and longform video content to be shared across platforms, with an expectation of completing 8-12 longform (6-10 minute) videos per month. - Package and upload videos to YouTube
- Grow audience engagement through understanding of data and analytics, identifying trends that work
- Design still graphics including video thumbnails
- Brainstorm with team for relevant content aligned with the brand
- Pitch concepts for original video series
- Collaborate with team on creative concepts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience producing digital video content
- Proficient in using Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Experience shooting video and photos using DSLR camera
- Ability to work across departments effectively
- Experience building audience and increasing visibility on YouTube a plus
- In-depth understanding of current YouTube algorithm a plus
- Previous law firm experience a plus
Salary range
$67,000-$80,000
