Job Description Statement:
A two-year apprenticeship where you’ll gain hands-on expertise in medical imaging equipment repair while taking increasing responsibility for receiving, disassembling, identifying, and preparing parts and systems for inventory and distribution. You will help test, validate, and restore medical imaging systems, contributing directly to the reliability of life-saving technology.
To qualify for this role, applicants must be high school seniors who have completed at least one year in a Career Technical Education (CTE) program. Eligible students may earn academic credit while working in this position.

Essential Job Duties:
- Build core technical skills through hands-on training in imaging equipment, electrical basics, and repair processes.
- Ensure accurate, organized inventory by inspecting, testing, documenting, and preparing all incoming equipment and parts.
- Support smooth operations by efficiently pulling, tracking, shipping, and receiving parts and equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized facility with proper material handling and disposal.
- Collaborate professionally across teams.
- Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Preferred Experience
- 1 year of experience in retail, inventory management, warehousing, mechanical work, or physical labor.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Exposure to customer service or cross-department teamwork environments is a plus.
Education (or equivalent experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical coursework or vocational training in electronics, mechanics, or related fields (preferred but not required).
Preferred Certifications
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic electrical safety or technical repair training certifications (preferred, not required).
- OSHA safety training or related workplace safety certifications.
Travel Requirements:
Frequent driving 30% , load, transport, deliver parts/equipment. Meet driver eligibility requirements. Minimum age 21, refer to company vehicle policy.

This role may involve
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25-75 pounds regularly; heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
- Manual dexterity for handling tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Visual and auditory ability to operate machinery.
- Potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials. Ability to safely operate and enter/exit vehicles, drive for extended periods and work in varied environmental conditions with potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials.
