Client Services & Operations Position currently available. This is a full-time paid, entry level opportunity out of our New York City location with benefits. Candidates should be ready to gain exposure in several job areas, with the opportunity to develop competencies where one best fits over time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Train and learn electronic trading software products by participating in release cycles for multiple products
Help clients get live with electronic trading software by working with and supporting the client during the client on-boarding process
Work with the client services team by fielding client calls, coordinating issues for technical teams, and being a part of the software operations team
Interface with clients to gather business requirements and certify software specifications related to company products
Work with clients on strategic software integration projects and new product releases to ensure product conformance to detailed requirements
Build and present metrics for the operations team to identify problem areas with software products, client services, and operations
Build and improve relationships with both new and existing clients to identify additional requirements
Create, maintain, and improve internal and client-facing documentation including onboarding guides, product release notes, integration specifications, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in one of the following:
Computer Science
Computer Science & Engineering
Business Information Systems
Computer Science and Business
Integrated Business and Engineering
Exposure or related experience in Finance and/or Accounting a plus (dual degree program, minor, certifications, work experience, etc.)
Client experience strongly recommended
Basic understanding of Wall Street terminology
Ability to succeed in a high-stress environment
Strong inter-personal skills and experience in extensive team projects
Entrepreneurial spirit and ambitions
Fluency in English (Fluency in Spanish a plus)
Working knowledge in the following a plus: FIX Protocol, JAVA, Socket and Network Programming, J2EE, Java Servlet Programming, Groovy programming, Spring Framework, JSON, Web Sockets, REST, MySQL (and other databases), Unix operating systems, Scripting Languages (Perl, Bash, Python, etc.), Apache Products, Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio), Virtual Environments, AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Athena), and FTP.
