Job Overview
BLK Fence is hiring hard-working, reliable crew members for the remainder 2026 summer install season. Looking to hire ASAP.
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor job installing residential and commercial fences across the Mat-Su Valley, Anchorage, and surrounding areas. No two days are the same — from small repairs to full installs, we stay moving.
If you like working with your hands, being outside, and seeing real results at the end of the day, you’ll fit in well here.
What You’ll Do
- Load tools and materials and travel to job sites
- Demolish and remove old fences
- Dig post holes (by hand, auger, or skid steer)
- Set posts with concrete
- Install wood, chain link, and other fence types
- Operate power tools and small equipment safely
- Work closely with crew lead and team members
- Clean and reset job sites daily
- Occasionally interact with customers on-site
Requirements
- 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 lbs consistently
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Shows up on time and ready to work
Preferred (but not required)
- Construction, fencing, or landscaping experience
- Equipment experience (auger, skid steer)
- Welding experience
- Ability to measure, run string lines, and follow layouts
Schedule & Location
- Monday–Friday (weekends as needed)
- 8–10 hour days depending on workload
- Crew meets in Wasilla and travels to job sites
