About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Field CTO to serve as the senior technical partner to our enterprise customers. You’ll work directly with CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Engineering to validate architectures, accelerate modernization, and drive measurable improvements in software delivery. You’ll work alongside our high performance Enterprise Sales and Customer Success teams, partnering closely with AI Solutions Consultants to connect technical strategy with business value throughout the enterprise sales cycle and beyond.

This role requires deep, firsthand experience with the AI code generation ecosystem, including modern foundation models, developer toolchains, and frameworks for autonomous and assisted code generation. You understand what’s possible, what’s hype, and how to operationalize these technologies in complex enterprise environments. You’ll work directly with some of the world’s largest enterprises to shape how they build software for the next decade. Your technical credibility will directly influence revenue and expansion, while your close partnership with Blitzy’s founding team will give you a seat at the table as we define the playbook for enterprise AI native software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise technical validation, including architecture assessments, proofs of concept, and technical evaluations from initial scoping through expansion.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, ROI, and modernization strategies for engineering leaders and C-suite executives.
• Design and execute technical validation plans aligned with MEDDPICC and broader enterprise sales milestones.
• Apply hands-on experience fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying AI code-generation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or open-source equivalents)
• Guide customers through AI-native modernization, migration, and adoption strategies based on their technical environment, organizational readiness, and business objectives.
• Advise enterprise technology leaders on the architectural and operational changes required to adopt agentic software development across the SDLC, software supply chain, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.
• Apply deep expertise in AI code-generation models, platforms, toolchains, and autonomous development frameworks to evaluate technologies, benchmarks, and production readiness.
• Develop trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and technical teams, serving as a credible senior advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Partner with Enterprise AEs, AI Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to align technical strategy with commercial milestones, adoption goals, and long-term customer outcomes.
• Identify new technical use cases and expansion opportunities by connecting customer business objectives with additional applications of the Blitzy platform.
• Drive sustained platform adoption and measurable improvements in software delivery velocity across customer environments.
• Serve as a senior technical voice in enterprise sales conversations, technical workshops, executive meetings, and customer engagements.
• Contribute to Blitzy’s evolving enterprise AI strategy by bringing an informed perspective on emerging AI engineering technologies, autonomous agents, and the future of software development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field CTO, Chief Architect, VP of Engineering, or senior technical executive in an enterprise or customer-facing role.
• Deep, hands-on experience with AI code-generation models, toolchains, and autonomous development frameworks, with a strong understanding of production readiness, evaluation, and emerging capabilities.
• Proven track record leading enterprise architecture assessments, technical validations, and proof-of-concept initiatives at scale.
• Experience guiding enterprises through large-scale modernization, migration, or AI adoption initiatives, including the architectural and operational changes required to support AI-native software development.
• Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC, with the ability to connect technical strategy to business value and commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both individual engineers and C-suite technology leaders, building credibility and trust across technical and executive audiences.
• Familiarity with LLM training, inference optimization, and evaluation metrics.
• Experience implementing or leading AI code-generation initiatives within enterprise environments.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment, with the ability to operate effectively through rapid iteration, ambiguity, and evolving priorities.
• Public speaking or thought leadership experience in AI engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technical fields.
• Deep curiosity about how System-2 AI and autonomous agents are reshaping software development, with a clear perspective on the direction of the industry.
  
  

Base Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 Bonus Equity
